Arabian Desert Oasis

The Arabian desert oasis covers almost all of the Arabian peninsula. It covers up to about 75% of the country. The desert landscape is extremely dry and sandy. The desert is unable to support any or little vegetation. The few plants that are able to survive in the Arabian desert have a specific way of how they are able to contain water. The temperature of the desert can sometimes rise over 120 degrees Fahrenheit. It does not often rain here and when there is a wind storm the sand rises and blows everywhere. The people that go to the Arabian desert wear certain types of clothes, usually covering their face, and use camels as a source of transportation. The oasis is very important because of Arabia being a very dry place it is one of the only sources to get fresh water from.
